SDYS 2020 Fall Registration

We hope that everyone has been staying safe and enjoying the beautiful San Diego weather so far this summer!

Fall registration is open, please register ASAP!

SDYS has had a handful of teams from Spring practicing since late June through July under COVID-19 safety protocols that were developed in coordination with local and state health officials. We expect these protocols to remain in effect for the Fall Season. These protocols currently include teams of stable groups of up to 12 girls, health checks, sanitization and social distancing measures. Details on protocols can be found on our website.

Our San Diego County Board of Supervisors is working with local and state health officials to develop a plan to allow youth sports to safely participate in scrimmages, friendlies and games. Regardless, we are working to ensure that we are able to have a fun fall season where we can get the girls outside practicing and having fun.

Due to COVID-19, we will not be able to facilitate volunteers working and as such, the typical snack bar buyout option has been removed. We are also planning on all snackbar items to only include prepackaged foods and drinks.

We Need Coaches and Volunteers!

In addition, we have a few spots open on the SDYS board of directors for 2020-2021. We rely on a group of 15 volunteers to run the league. If you have a bit of spare time and are interested in helping to support the league, please reach out to Steve Indian at president@sdyssoftball.com.
