We will be running the Junior Umpire program for the Spring 2024 season!

Key Details for the 2024 Junior Umpire Program:

• Junior Umpires will officiate SDYS 8U division games
• Junior Umpires must be 13-18 years old  (12 year olds can be field umps, not behind the plate)
• Played with SDYS or in local softball/baseball leagues and have advanced knowledge of softball/baseball
• Must attend scheduled Junior Umpire training session(s) (dates/times TBD)
• Compensation is $40/$25 (plate ump/field ump) per game called
• Flexible availability
• Must be reliable
